Let’s Talk About Step Brothers…
Anytime Will Ferrell and Adam McKay get together you’re bound to get comedy gold and Step Brothers is no exception. Despite mixed reviews by critics and receiving only a 54% score on Rotten Tomatoes, Step Brothers is one of our favorite movies and is legitimately laugh out loud every few minutes.
The premise is pretty basic: Will plays Brennan, a dude that lives with his mum and refuses to grow up. John C Reilly plays Dale, a dude that lives with his dad and refuses to grow up. Both parents meet at a conference, fall in love and decide to move in together, bringing both boys along and chaos ensures.
The Step Brothers drinking game we’ve created here is extremely basic but fun. Whilst we don’t recommend playing with hard spirits, we think that liquor shots would work well as it’s not one of our heavier drinking games with the rules being quite obscure and not occurring too often. That said, it’s gonna be fun.
Step Brothers Drinking Game
- This is a Step Brothers drinking game.
- It’s impossible to keep up with 15-20 drinking game rules. We limit our rules to 10.
- Each time a rule occurs, you take a drink. We don’t have any rules that tell you to finish drinks or make stupid fucking noises. We keep things simple.
- Our rules aren’t standard, they’re obscure. That’s how we’re different.
Drink Every Time…
- Dale is raped by Alice.
- Robert looks to be on the verge of going postal.
- Nancy babies Brennan.
- The Catalina Wine Mixer is brought up.
- There’s a Pam / Pan confusion.
- Derek ridicules Brennan or Dale.
- Robert talks to or refers to Brennan and Dale as children.
- Derek’s kids showcase their punchable personalities.
- You spot a Director cameo.
- Somebody playing this quotes a line from the movie.
