Let’s Talk Jurassic Park…

If you haven’t read any of Michael Crichton’s books than let me just tell you that you’re missing out. The dude sold over 200,000,000 (200 million) copies of his books worldwide which is literally insanity. For reference, I once self published a book and made $10,000 and thought I was crushing it. You know how many copies that was? Around 800. This dude sold 200,000,000. Honestly, that’s crazy.

Anyway, Jurassic Park is not only an amazing movie but it’s also a book thats extremely well written and probably worthy of an R18+ rating if it was adapted word for word and scene for scene. In the movie we have scenes that are pretty tame. For example a certain character is killed by a dinosaur but it all happens off-screen. In contrast, the book describes in extremely vivid detail the killing of this character. It’s sick and yet so well written that it all makes sense.

Regardless, this movie was well adapted and is one of my favorite movies of all time. You’ve got Steven Spielberg, Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum and the insanely talented Laura Dern all running away from dinosaurs. What more could you ask for? Watch this movie with friends or family and you wont be disappointed and please, if you get the chance, read the book.

This is a Jurassic Park drinking Game
It’s impossible to keep up with 15-20 drinking game rules. We limit our rules to 10.
Each time a rule occurs, you take a drink. We don’t have any rules that tell you to finish drinks or make stupid fucking noises. We keep things simple.
Our rules aren’t standard, they’re obscure. That’s how we’re different.

Drink Every Time…

A character dies (finish your drink if you’ve read the book and the death on film seems tame)
A person shows or says that they don’t like children.
A T-Rex roars.
A bad idea is aired.
A new breed of dinosaur appears.
Sexual tension between Alan and Ellie or Ellie and Ian.
Tim or Lex act like absolute cunts.
Nedry sabotages something.
A character runs.
Science obviously went too far.
