Face Off Drinking Game

Let’s Talk Face Off…

I re-watched Face/Off the other day for the first time in years and I was honestly pleasantly surprised to see how well it holds up. Yes, it’s a bit cheesy and yes Nick Cage totally unhinged but man what a wild ride. If you’re unfamiliar with this absolute classic action movie, it’s directed by the legendary John Woo and stars Nick Cage and John Travolta. The film’s premise  is quite outlandish: Sean Archer (Travolta) is an FBI agent who has a surgical procedure that gives him the face and appearance of recently captured and pretty much dead terrorist named Caster Troy (Cage). Why does he do this? To learn the location of a bomb that was planted by Troy. The twist? After the procedure Troy wakes up and assumes the identity of Archer.

So you can see how this sounds absolutely insane and not worthy of the price of a movie ticket. The thing is… it’s actually a really decent action flick. So much so that it’s rated 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. So who would like this movie? Basically anyone that loves the 90’s action films; think of films like The Rock and Con Air. These movies also make for the perfect drinking games because they don’t take themselves too seriously and are some of the most entertaining movies I’ve ever seen. Plus, who doesn’t like a good Nick Cage film? If you want more, we also have the National Treasure Drinking Game.
