Let’s Talk Elf…

It’s getting closer and closer towards Christmas which means that the Christmas Classics are coming out. We’re not talking about our Home Alone drinking game or our Christmas With The Kranks drinking game (sorry for the self-promotion), we’re talking about Will Ferrell’s FIRST EVER leading role, can you believe that? Yes, this movie is before Anchorman, before Blades of Glory and way before Step Brothers. I don’t know about you but this still blows my mind.

Anyway, this movie is basically about a dude named Buddy who grew up in the North Pole as an Elf but realises one day that he doesn’t belong, that his biological father lives in New York City. So of course he decides to set out on an adventure to find him and runs into a bit of trouble along the way.

Elf has somewhat of a stacked cast. I mean, let’s take a look, we have Will Ferrell, the late great James Caan, Zooey Deschanel, Mary Steenburgen (who also plays Wills mother in Step Brothers) plus a host of cameos from people like Peter Dinklage and Andy Richter.

If you’re after a Christmas movie this year that’s going to make you laugh and you want to see Will Ferrell at his best, check out Elf and we’re sorry in advance for the amount of booze you’re going to drink.

Elf Drinking Game

This is a drinking game for the movie Elf.
It’s impossible to keep up with 15-20 drinking game rules. We limit our rules to 10.
Each time a rule occurs, you take a drink. We don’t have any rules that tell you to finish drinks or make stupid fucking noises. We keep things simple.
Our rules aren’t standard, they’re obscure. That’s how we’re different.

Drink Every Time…

James Caan shows massive contempt towards Will Ferrell’s character or any character.
Buddy doesn’t understand a concept from the real world.
The character Buddy makes a friend or attempts to make a friend.
Walter acts like a Grinch who has lost the meaning of Christmas.
The naughty list is mentioned.
Michael complains about his father or Walter dismisses his son.
Any character is heard singing including in the movie score.
Buddy eats candy or something sweet.
Buddy is out of place in the North Pole.
A Lannister appears on screen.
