Let’s Talk About The Mummy Returns…
If you’re joining us from our The Mummy drinking game, welcome, things are about to be taken up a notch. Not only do we have Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz and Arnold Vosloo (Imhotep) returning for the sequel, we have the feature film debut of the motherfucking Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson. Love seeing The Rock in movies? Thank Brendan Fraser. Hate seeing The Rock in movies? Blame Brendan Fraser. The Rock has actually credited Brendan Fraser for giving him his shot at acting which kicked off his massive Hollywood career.
Just like the original, The Mummy Returns is super fun, it has a bunch of laughs and pretty good special effects, however we did include a rule for spotty or outdated CGI (you’ll know what we’re referring to at the end). If you’re a fan of action adventure films, it doesn’t get any better than The Mummy Returns.

- It’s impossible to keep up with 15-20 drinking game rules. We limit our rules to 10.
- Each time a rule occurs, you take a drink. We don’t have any rules that tell you to finish drinks or make stupid fucking noises. We keep things simple.
- Our rules aren’t standard, they’re obscure. That’s how we’re different.
Drink Every Time…
- Alex experiences some dope AR (augmented reality).
- You spot bad or outdated CGI.
- A gun is cocked or loaded.
- A flaming torch is shown on screen.
- A character has a vision.
- The location of Ahm Shere is mentioned.
- Rick has a witty remark.
- Universal Pictures includes an unnecessary jump scare.
- Jonathan says or does something dumb.
- A pyramid appears on-screen.
